Hundreds of protesters were arrested in London, Amsterdam and New York, among other cities. "Extreme weather will tell this truth for us unless the Government does it for us first," organizers said.

Climate change activists from the group Extinction Rebellion demonstrate on Lambeth Bridge in central London on Monday. The group has planned protests in Europe, North America and Australia over the next two weeks.
