A single lot of the pancake mix, which is sold at Walmart, could be contaminated with the foreign material.

Officials say the recall was prompted after a random sample tested positive for the organism listeria monocytogenes. No illnesses have been reported, the FDA says.

Officials are looking into four confirmed cases of the dangerous bacteria discovered in the sprays. Two deaths associated with the bacteria are being investigated.

A salmonella outbreak has affected more than 30 states. Federal health officials link it to onions grown in Chihuahua, Mexico, and distributed by ProSource Inc.

The company says that daily exposure levels believed to be detected in the products likely would not cause "adverse health consequences."

The loungers were sold in stores from January 2004 to September 2021. Retailers including Amazon, Pottery Barn Kids, Target and Walmart carried the product.

"Let's call it what it is: it's a partisan, Republican recall — backed by the [Republican National Committee], anti-mask and anti-vax extremists, and pro-Trump forces," Newsom said Monday.

Turner was convicted of sexual assault in 2016 and ultimately served three months in county jail. Outraged opponents say he is unfit to serve out the remaining four years of his term.

The eggs were sold in nine states, according to the FDA. They are labeled under a number of brands, including Coburn Farms, Country Daybreak, the Food Lion store brand, Great Value and Sunshine Farms.

Last June Ikea recalled millions of dressers over the risk of tip-over accidents. But the parents of Jozef Dudek, who was crushed by a Malm dresser this May, were not aware of the recall, lawyers say.
