New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo takes what he calls "the ultimate step" in his state's effort to stop the spread of a deadly coronavirus. Similar orders are coming from Connecticut, Nevada and New Jersey.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, announced a stay-at-home rule to combat the spread of the Covid-19 virus, during a news conference Friday.

"We know this will be hard," Gov. J.B. Pritzker said in a news conference, adding that the new rules are expected to last until April 7.

Starbucks said workers who choose to stay home or can't go in to work because they are infected by the coronavirus will still get paid for the next 30 days.
