The late pop music icon Prince left behind a lot of his own music when he died on Thursday at the age of 57. But he also was a sought after songwriter who wrote hits recorded by many other artists.
The influential and successful recording artist had a few major moments on television. In remembering Prince, many have cited his performance at the 2007 Super Bowl as one of his greatest shows.
Sheila E. recorded hits like "A Love Bizarre" and "The Glamorous Life" with Prince back in the mid-1980s. NPR's Kelly McEvers talks to her about her memories of Prince, who died Thursday at age 57.
