Officials at Salem College and Forsyth Technical Community College are partnering on a new tuition agreement.

Salem College officials announced a second year of record growth, with the number of new students on campus increasing by more than 50 percent. The Winston-Salem-based women’s college also received an all-time high number of applications for a second consecutive year.

Three local universities in collaboration with Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools received a $4.7 million grant from the U.S.

Salem College hosted a healthcare forum Thursday as part of its move to focus on developing future leaders.

Salem College and Academy has appointed Summer Johnson McGee as its new president. She'll take over as the school focuses on a new health-related curriculum.

Salem College has received a $5 million gift toward its transition to a Health Leadership curriculum. This is the largest donation in the school's 250-year history.
