I've seen a lot of brilliant live shows in my life, but none more life-changing or life-affirming than the one Sufjan Stevens gave in 2015 at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. for his album Carrie & Lowell.

If you weren't lucky enough to see that concert, you might get at least a taste of what it was like tonight with a live broadcast of Sufjan Stevens' performance at Coachella. His set, which you can watch here beginning at 11:45 p.m. ET, is likely to be far less restrained and more flamboyant than the solemn show he delivered for the official Carrie & Lowell tour, but he's expected to include some highlights from the deeply moving album. His performance on April 15 during the first week of Coachella featured songs from The Age Of Adz, Seven Swans and Illinois.
