The self-described experimental rock band Aquatic Ceremony have been swimming in the seas of the triad music scene for just over a year.

Led by the vibrant & dynamic vocalist Amy Fitzgerald, the band's music is at times reflective, with washes of serene guitars punctuated by Amy's introspective lyrics. Then at other times, Aquatic Ceremony takes on the guise of a space crew steering its way out of an anxiety dream in the furthest reaches of the galaxy. These extremes and the band's sharp musicianship are in focus and on display on their recently released debut album. The self titled CD features Matt Cooley on guitar, Eric Glenn on bass, Chad McHenry on drums, and Amy Fitzgerald on vocals. The album was recorded & co-produced by Michael Zeoli at Zoo Station Studios. Amy and Chad spoke with Eddie Garcia in Winston-Salem at the studios of WFDD.
