Brandt Snedeker won the Wyndham Championship Sunday in Greensboro to notch his ninth PGA Tour title.

Snedeker opened the tournament hot with a 59 - becoming the first tour player this year and just the tenth ever to crack 60. But by the end, it almost took a playoff at Sedgefield Country Club for him to win it.

He headed to his last hole tied with Taiwan's C.T. Pan. But Snedeker's birdie - coupled with a double bogey from Pan - made Snedeker a three-stroke winner.

He ended the Wyndham with a 21-under 259 for his first win since 2016. Snedeker had previously won the Wyndham in 2007, back when it was at Forest Oaks Country Club.

Severe weather led organizers to suspend the third round with 30 players still on the course. They came back Sunday morning, leaving Snedeker with 29 holes to play on the final day.

Pan shot a 66 to tie Webb Simpson for second place.
