Meet the Artist: Body Painter Amber Michael

Amber Michael is a makeup artist specializing in special effects, beauty makeup and body painting.

She's won several awards for her body painting, placing 2nd in the Emerging Artist Category at Living Art Greensboro and 4^th at Living Art America in Atlanta, Georgia. In September she'll compete in the International Bodypaint Competition Living Art Greensboro as part of the Gate City's 17 Days Festival.

You can see Amber's body painting work at the Greensboro Summer Solstice on Saturday June 20^th from 2pm-10pm. She'll be live body painting there and her model, Victoria Singleton, will be available for pictures wearing Amber's creation entitled "Sister Earth". 

Her body painting work is often bold, colorful and dramatic, capturing and conveying Amber's own adventuresome spirit. She says it all began as a young girl.
