KCRW Presents: Hiatus Kaiyote

Soul/funk/jazz collective Hiatus Kaiyote received a Grammy nomination for their debut and found big-name fans in Prince, Questlove, Erykah Badu and more. The band's new record is even more ambitious — but a live setting is the best way to experience their genre-defying grooves. We hosted them at Apogee Studio and "By Fire" was a clear highlight.
