As the coronavirus threat continues, more and more people are staying at home venturing, out only for necessities or medical care. But the homeless and the uninsured or underinsured are particularly vulnerable.

The Shalom Project in Winston-Salem has traditionally served all of these communities — providing free meals, clothing, medical care, and prescriptions. Some of those programs are being cut in light of COVID-19.

WFDD's David Ford spoke with Program Manager Jeffrey Dean Foster about working to meet the increased demand for services in the midst of a pandemic.
