The Guilford County School district is giving parents and students more information about where they will be attending school next week. This comes after a tornado ravaged eastern Greensboro.

Guilford County Schools is offering open house tours for students that will be relocating. Erwin Montessori, Peeler and Hampton elementary schools sustained damage and are currently closed.

The tours take place on Sunday, April 22, and transportation will be provided for those in need. The new receiving schools are Bluford, Alamance and Reedy Fork Elementary.

School leaders and officials, including counselors and social workers, will be on hand to talk with families.

Last week's storm caused a high-end EF2 tornado that was responsible for one death and cut a swath of damage about 300 meters wide.
