3/10/23 - “As I was driving on the Blue Ridge Pkwy early one morning, right around the Thunder Hill overlook, shortly after sunrise, I was awestruck by the vivid colors and the clarity of the mountains standing right before me. I've driven by this overlook so many times over the 20+ years that I've lived in Boone, but it never appeared so spectacular. I quickly grabbed my camera and captured this very special morning light and view. I call this shot ‘True Blue...Ridge Parkway’. I feel so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place.”

Her red goggles keep the wind out of her eyes, and her puppy car seat raises her enough to lean on her little elbows. Life is never boring with Daisy Marmalade, and my hair's always wild whenever we get where we're going.”
