Susan Morris is the Program Director for Venture Cafe Winston-Salem. She has produced and organized such events as the Scene in Winston-Salem Scavenger Hunt and The Burke Street Food Truck Festival, raising over $40,000 for local non-profits. Her community involvement includes City of Winston-Salem University program, the Winston-Salem Centennial Commission, and Leadership Winston-Salem; she is the current Chair of the WS Chamber of Commerce's Tech Council Executive Board, a board member of H.O.P.E of Winston-Salem, and serves on the Inclusion and Access Committee for Hospice and Palliative CareCenter. Catherine Burroughs is a Professor Emeritus of English at Wells College and has been appointed Courtesy Professor in the English and the Performing Arts and Media Studies departments at Cornell University. Throughout her career, she has focused on the contributions to theatre and playwrighting of women writers between 1750 and 1830. Her book, Closet Stages: Joanna Baillie and the Theater Theory of British Romantic Women Writers (University of Pennsylvania Press, 1997), helped to make Baillie canonical and encouraged scholarship on theatre theorists of the Romantic period and the broader topic of gender and the stage. In addition to her many articles on British Romantic theatre and drama, publications include: Reading the Social Body (Co-Ed., University of Iowa Press, 1993); Women in British Romantic Theatre: Drama, Performance, and Society, 1790–1840 (Ed., Cambridge University Press, 2000; re-printed in Paper 2006); Approaches to Teaching Early British Women Playwrights (Modern Language Association, 2010); and Closet Drama: History, Theory, Form(Routledge, 2019). She has in progress Women's Theatre Theory and Dramatic Criticism (co-ed. with Ellen Gainor) and is also a member of Actors' Equity Association.Term expires December 31, 2021.

Adam Bennett got his start at WFDD as a volunteer in the Spring of 2017 and came on board as a staff member shortly thereafter.A native of Nebraska, Adam earned a Social Science Education degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney before relocating to North Carolina in 2009.He's spent time as the voice you hear during midday breaks on weekdays, as well as hosting on Sunday afternoons and evenings. Adam also creates many of the announcements and testimonials that you hear every day on WFDD.In August of 2020, Adam took on the dual role of Listener and Donor Services Coordinator/Production Manager. In addition to continuing his production duties, he handles many of the day-to-day financial transactions and works with listeners to answer questions and concerns that may arise.Adam has been a supporter of public radio for many years because he admires the sense of community it fosters and he believes that strong journalism is essential in keeping the public informed and educated.

Amy Diaz began covering education in North Carolina’s Piedmont region and High Country for WFDD in partnership with Report For America in 2022. Before entering the world of public radio, she worked as a local government reporter in Flint, Mich. where she was named the 2021 Rookie Writer of the Year by the Michigan Press Association. Diaz is originally from Florida, where she interned at the Sarasota Herald-Tribune and freelanced for the Tampa Bay Times. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of South Florida, but truly got her start in the field in elementary school writing scripts for the morning news. Keri Brown is a multi-award winning reporter and host at 88.5 WFDD. She has been honored with two regional Edward R. Murrow awards for her stories about coal ash, and was named the 2015 radio reporter of the year by the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas (RTDNAC).Although she covers a variety of topics, her beats are environmental and education reporting.Keri comes to the Triad from West Virginia Public Broadcasting, where she served as the Chief Bureau Reporter for the Northern Panhandle. She produced stories for the state's Public Television and Radio programs and was honored by the West Virginia Associated Press Broadcasters Association for her feature and enterprise reporting.She also served as an adjunct instructor at Wheeling Jesuit University and Bethany College in West Virginia. She worked with the Center for Educational Technologies in Wheeling, WV, and other NASA centers across the country to develop several stories about the use of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts in the classroom.Keri's journalism career began at WTRF-TV 7 in Wheeling. She worked in several roles at the station, including the head assignment editor. She also was a field producer and assignment manager at WPGH-TV Fox 53 in Pittsburgh.Keri is a graduate of Ohio University. When she's not in the studio or working on a story, she enjoys watching college football with her family, cooking, and traveling.Keri is always looking for another great story idea, so please share them with her. To Lauren, nothing feels more like home than public radio. The child of two Navy captains, she moved frequently all over the country. Public radio was a rare consistency in her childhood, connecting her to her community and the world. Now a twelve-year resident of Greensboro, she is delighted to be chairing the WFDD Community Advisory Board. Lauren has over a decade of experience in communications and strategic planning with Lincoln Financial Group. Sean Bueter joined WFDD in August 2015 as a reporter covering issues across the Piedmont Triad and beyond.Previously, Sean was a reporter, host and news director at WBOI in Fort Wayne, Ind., just a few hours from where he grew up. He also sorted Steve Inskeep's mail as an intern at NPR in Washington, D.C.Sean has experience on a variety of beats, including race, wealth and poverty, economic development, and more. His work has appeared on NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered, and APM's Marketplace.In his spare time, Sean plays tennis (reasonably well), golf (reasonably poorly), and scours local haunts for pinball machines to conquer.
