Lauren Schaefer Nagel

To Lauren, nothing feels more like home than public radio. The child of two Navy captains, she moved frequently all over the country. Public radio was a rare consistency in her childhood, connecting her to her community and the world.  Now a twelve-year resident of Greensboro, she is delighted to be chairing the WFDD Community Advisory Board.  Lauren has over a decade of experience in communications and strategic planning with Lincoln Financial Group. Currently Lauren is an active community volunteer and activist, and a proud mother and step-mother.
