A suspect in the "Ramsey Street Rapist" case in Fayetteville, N.C., was located after a search through a public genealogy database. It's the same process used in the case of the Golden State Killer.

Deputy sergeant Mauwa Saleh is the coordinator of the seven Gender and Children desks in Zanzibar. These desks are staffed by police officers who have received training on how to interview victims and investigate reports of gender-based violence.
