A jury in London acquitted Spacey on Wednesday after 12 hours of deliberations. On hearing the verdict, Spacey wiped away tears and mouthed the words "thank you" to the jury.

"A not guilty plea was entered on the defendant's behalf," the district attorney's office says. Spacey is accused of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old man in the summer of 2016.
Last year, a former Massachusetts news anchor accused Spacey of assaulting her teenage son in 2016. Spacey's arraignment is scheduled for next month at the Nantucket District Court.
