Secrest Artists Series Presents The Windsync Wind Quintet

Richie Hawley
WindSync

The Secrest Artists Series at Wake Forest University welcomes wind quintet WindSync. The five wind players on flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon and French horn have been described as being “revolutionary chamber musicians.” Bassoonist Tracy Jacobson says their revolution begins by building a connection with audiences through adventurous programming and charismatic stage presence. The five virtuoso players perform exclusively from memory to entertain their audiences of all ages. David Ford spoke with Jacobson about the Windsync revolution.

Jacobson and her colleagues will perform Thursday, January 21st in Brendle Recital Hall on the WFU campus. It's part of Wake's Secrest Artists Series.

Tickets are $5-$18 for members of the community. Wake Forest students, faculty, staff and retirees are admitted free with WFU I.D. Tickets and more information here.
