Dmitri Shteinberg is a Russian-born pianist who began his musical training in Moscow. As the Soviet Union was collapsing, his family moved to Israel where he continued learning. He later received his Doctoral Degree from the Manhattan School of Music in New York. Currently he teaches piano at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Dmitri will bring his expertise to the Music that Matters series with a performance this Sunday at Parkway United Church of Christ. The concert will benefit AIDS Care Service of Winston-Salem and begins at 3:00pm. The series' final concert will feature singer, songwriter, and storyteller Mary Siebert on May 1st at 3:00pm.
