Justin Hardy, Vice-Chair
Justin Hardy is an attorney with Bell, Davis & Pitt, a law firm with offices in Winston-Salem and Charlotte. He is a member of multiple sections of the North Carolina Bar Association and serves as the vice chair of the tax section's continuing legal education committee. Justin was born in Saginaw, Michigan, and was raised in both Franklin, North Carolina, and St. Charles, Michigan. He discovered public radio while pursuing a degree in Sociology from Central Michigan University.Justin and his wife, Carrie, moved to Winston-Salem upon earning his law degree from Michigan State University in 2008. They have one son, who is convinced that Justin's radio dial only tunes to 88.5 WFDD.Term expires December 31, 2022.

Dan Cordtz
Dan joined WFDD in August 2017. He has lived up and down the eastern US and graduated from Syracuse University in 2011. At Syracuse, Dan worked at CitrusTV, the student-run television station for the university.Prior to arriving in the Piedmont Triad, Dan was in the TV-broadcasting industry working in Great Falls, Montana, from mid-2012 through the end of 2015. While at KFBB, Dan anchored and produced Sports and News. Along with his time at WFDD, Dan is a Studio Host, Producer, and Production Assistant at IMG College. He also works for the Winston-Salem Dash, and for athletics at Bishop McGuiness High School in Kernersville where he can be heard on some of their athletic broadcasts. When not working, Dan enjoys exploring Winston-Salem and watching sports, especially football and college basketball.
Sara Pesek
Sara Pesek
Prior to moving to Winston-Salem, Sara Pesek was the Director of Program Development at the Center for Sustainable Community Solutions at Syracuse University. She received her Master of Public Administration from Syracuse's Maxwell School and has undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry. She is currently a stay-at-home mom but is very active in local nonprofits. Aside from sitting on the WFDD CAB, she is on the Hispanic League board, is very involved with resettled refugee families through World Relief, and recently completed a 28.3 mile (in a day) endurance hike to raise money for Make a Wish Foundation. Term expires December 31, 2022.

Phil Archer
Phil Archer attended Wake Forest University and returned for a Masters in Business Administration in 2006. He was Director of Public Programs at Reynolda House Museum of American Art from 2002 to 2015. In 2002-2003 Archer acted as representative during the Museum's first major expansion and co-directed the Exhibit, Design and Interpretation Project, including the restoration of the historic house and the creation of associated semi-permanent exhibits, audio tour, orientation video, logo, and signage. In 2010 he was named one of 40 Leaders Under 40 by The Business Journal. In 2012 he developed a companion exhibition with the Enrichment Center received the Arts Knowledge-Sharing Award from the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, and in 2014 he developed a play about Reynolda's African American farming village that received the Arts Council's Arts Development AwardArcher curated the 2011-12 exhibition Wonder and Enlightenment: Artist-Naturalists in the Early American South, which was published as an article in American Art Review in January 2012, co-authored by Martha Severens. In 2013 he curated Partisans: Social Realism in American Art. In 2014 he was co-managing curator for The Art of Seating: Two Hundred Years of American Design. Archer is co-chair of the biennial Restoring Southern Gardens and Landscapes Conference. Hobbies include gardening, making miniature replicas of garden temples in wood, and fixing up a 1908 house in downtown Winston-Salem.Term expires December 31, 2021.

Takeisha Redd
Takeisha Redd is a Winston-Salem native and long time public radio listener. She obtained her B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. from the Albert S. Turner School of Law at North Carolina Central University. Takeisha is very active in her community and has served on the boards of many local non-profit organizations. Takeisha currently works as an assistant city attorney for the City of Winston-Salem. In her spare time she enjoys gardening and cycling.Term expires December 31, 2023.
David Ford
David Ford
Before his arrival in the Triad, David had already established himself as a fixture in the Austin, Texas arts scene as a radio host for Classical 89.5 KMFA. During his tenure there, he produced and hosted hundreds of programs including Mind Your Music, The Basics and T.G.I.F. Thank Goodness, It's Familiar, which each won international awards in the Fine Arts Radio Competition. As a radio journalist with 88.5 WFDD, his features have been recognized by the Associated Press, Public Radio News Directors Inc., Catholic Academy of Communication Professionals, and Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas. David has written and produced national stories for NPR, KUSC and CPRN in Los Angeles and conducted interviews for Minnesota Public Radio's Weekend America.

Karen Kantziper
Karen Kantziper has been with WFDD since 2011. Karen formerly worked in media sales for a local TV affiliate for 13 years. Before that, she was Public Relations Director at the American Red Cross in Georgia.Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Karen received her Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing from the University of Georgia. Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, going to the gym. and travel.
Shawn Fitzmaurice
Shawn Fitzmaurice
Shawn Fitzmaurice works at SciWorks with a primary role as the Planetarium Technician. He holds a B.S. in Geology from Guilford College.Shawn is originally from Massachusetts where he worked at the Museum of Science in Boston. After a twenty-two year career, he and his family relocated to North Carolina for a change in scenery and to further his education.Shawn's experience with radio dates back to 2006. Since then he has been hosting a specialized college radio show focusing on Independent music from Ireland. The show continued to operate out of WQFS, Guilford College radio in Greensboro until 2015.SciWorks Radio is presented by SciWorks, the Science Center and Environmental Park of Forsyth County, located in Winston-Salem. The goal of this program is to encourage and extend scientific understanding and literacy within the community.
