The holiday season is in full swing in the Piedmont, with several festivities scheduled for this weekend.

In Guilford County, residents can see Macy’s-style balloons at Greensboro’s Christmas parade Saturday at noon. Jamestown and Pleasant Garden will host their own parades Sunday at 3 p.m.

Forsyth County residents can catch Kernersville’s tree lighting Friday at 6 p.m., followed by the city’s parade Sunday at 2:30. Winston-Salem’s tree lighting will cap off its annual Christmas parade, which starts Saturday at 5 p.m.

In Stokes County, the festivities begin Saturday with King’s NASCAR- themed parade at 1 p.m. and continue in the evening with a parade featuring dancing horses at 5:30 in Pilot Mountain.
