2 reported killed, 1 injured in Mocksville plane crash

The Federal Aviation Administration has confirmed that a Mocksville plane crash on Tuesday was deadly. The crash at Sugar Valley Airport killed two and injured one. WFDD will have more information as it becomes available.

A plane has crashed in the Piedmont Triad, according to officials.

Davie County dispatch confirmed that they received a call about a plane crash at Sugar Valley Airport in Mocksville, located on Gilbert Road.

The FAA confirmed that a Stinson 108 Voyager crashed on Tuesday, saying they will be investigating and that three people were aboard. Their conditions remain unknown.

This information is preliminary and subject to change, the FAA says.

The NTSB has confirmed they’re investigating the crash.
