Greensboro MPO seeking feedback on public transit plans

The Greensboro Metropolitan Planning Organization is seeking feedback on two items relating to public transit.

The first is Greensboro Transit Agency’s new Title VI Policy, which must comply with federal guidelines, including the Civil Rights Act. That law prohibits discrimination based on race or national origin in programs that receive federal funds.

The second is the Draft Program of Products, a list of grant requests that support bus and paratransit services.

The public can comment on both documents at the MPO Transportation Advisory Committee’s online meeting on May 7.
