Guilford County seeks input on how to spend federal American Rescue Plan funds

Screen capture from a video about the funding on Guilford County's website.

Guilford County residents have until the end of the month to make suggestions on how the local government should spend $104 million in American Rescue Plan funds.

The money is intended to help communities respond to the pandemic and make investments in long-term plans.

Eligible uses include recovering from pandemic-related economic losses, funding for public health, boosting pay for essential workers and infrastructure for utilities and broadband.

Suggestions are being taken through Guilford County's website.
