The group consists of Jim Collier of Raleigh; Stephanie Coleman, originally of Chicago and now New York City; and Jim Nelson and Dedo Norris of St. Louis. Their music combines virtuosity on instruments, really compelling singing, and a satisfying combined Blue Ridge/midwestern lope. We are co-sponsoring the Surry County Old-Time Fiddlers' Convention in Dobson, NC on Friday and Saturday, April 6 & 7. It's a rain-or-shine event with indoor and outdoor activities at Surry Community College.
