The City of Greensboro Police say two people were killed in a shooting at a party early Sunday morning. In a statement, police say a large party was taking place at 911 Circle Drive, where an altercation happened shortly after 2:00 a.m., and an unknown subject produced a weapon and began firing. Two people were fatally wounded, 19 year old Alisia Dieudonne and 21 year old Amhad Campbell, both students at N.C. A&T State University. Both were transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The university said on its Facebook page that Dieudonne was a sophomore computer science major from Homewood, Illinois. Campbell was a junior agriculture and environmental systems major from Kittrell, North Carolina.

The school says its Office of Counseling Services would be open 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday for students seeking counseling services.

Greensboro police are working with N.C. A&T police and administrators.

The investigation is ongoing.
