Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will make a campaign stop in North Carolina Tuesday. It's the second time in less than a month that the she has visited the state, and she'll be joined by a key Democratic ally.

This marks the first time that President Barack Obama will officially campaign with Hillary Clinton. He endorsed her last month.

In a press release, Clinton's campaign says they will discuss “building on the progress we've made and their vision for an America that is stronger together." The event will take place at the Charlotte Convention Center.

North Carolina is once again expected to be a swing state. Obama narrowly won here in 2008, but lost in 2012.

Recent polls show Clinton and presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump in a close race.

Both candidates are ramping up fundraising efforts and advertisements, as the general election nears in November. Trump recently held a campaign rally in front of thousands of supporters in Greensboro.

Trump is also making another campaign stop in North Carolina following Clinton's visit on the same day. He will hold an event at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
