Hillary Clinton Will Stop In Raleigh This Week For Campaign Appearance

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will make a campaign stop in North Carolina on Wednesday. The event marks her first public appearance in the Tar Heel state since the March primary.

Clinton will speak at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. She's scheduled to give her remarks around 2:30 p.m. According to her campaign, she'll be talking about the economy and how she expects to unify the country.

Clinton stands to be the first woman to become the presidential nominee of a major political party.

Her visit is part of a tour of battleground states that also includes Virginia and Ohio. It comes on the heels of a campaign stop by Republican Donald Trump. Trump spoke to thousands of supporters in Greensboro last week.
