The Medicaid 'unwinding' is in full swing, and thousands of people are being kicked off the rolls due to administrative errors. Kentucky canceled Beverly Likens' coverage even though she is disabled.

Indiana's law will bar abortions except in cases of lethal fetal anomaly, rape or incest, or when the woman's life or health are seriously jeopardized. The fallout will be felt across the Midwest.

Two military helicopters crashed Wednesday night in southwestern Kentucky during a training mission, the U.S. Army said in a statement. The status of the crew members wasn't immediately known.

Voters in several states were asked to weigh in on ballot measures specifically related to abortion rights.

"It's going to take years to rebuild. People left with absolutely nothing," said Gov. Andy Beshear, as recovery begins. "And we continue to find bodies of our brothers and sisters that we have lost."

Major floods have devastated Eastern Kentucky and parts of Virginia and West Virginia. The death toll continues to climb as search and rescue teams cover the affected areas.
