Officials say voters whose records are still incomplete on Election Day may be asked to cast provisional ballots.

Voters in Rural Hall and Tobaccoville must register by Friday, August 15, to cast a ballot in the September election.

Burlington, Gibsonville and Jamestown are all electing new mayors this fall.
