Voter registration deadlines are approaching for residents in two Forsyth County municipalities.

Voters in Rural Hall and Tobaccoville must register by Friday, Aug. 15, to cast a ballot in the Sept. 9 primary.

Residents in municipalities including Greensboro, Jamestown and Asheboro have a bit more time. Their deadline is Sept. 12, ahead of the Oct. 7 primary.

Voters can register online, by mail or in person at the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles.

Those who miss the deadline can still register and vote during the early voting period, if it is offered in their municipality.

More information about election dates and registration requirements is available at ncsbe.gov.
