Utilities officials have lifted a Boil Water Advisory for all of Forsyth County. The move follows days of service interruptions after a water main break earlier this week.
The break was first reported by Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities on Wednesday morning.
Once crews had isolated its location, they said the site posed challenges because it was 40 feet below ground under a man-made pond.
The break affected around 200,000 Forsyth County residents.
Officials say water has now been restored to all customers. Testing shows it’s safe for consumption.
