A Lincoln County mother has now been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of her child. Her 7 month old son was found dead in her home on Christmas Eve.
Thirty-year-old Stephanie Tillman was previously charged with counts of neglect and child abuse. Sheriff's Captain Tim Johnson says the new charge was filed Tuesday as authorities furthered their investigation.
Jerry Allen, Tillman's boyfriend and the infant's father, called 911 saying he came home from work to find his infant son unresponsive, naked and alone on the living room sofa.
Authorities say Tillman was high on prescription drugs when they arrived at her home.
