No Kings

Several dozen protesters attended the "Rage Against the Regime" demonstration on the Green Street Pedestrian Bridge in Winston-Salem on Saturday. The focus was on Trump administration polices.

On July 4, hundreds of protesters gathered on Market Street in downtown Greensboro to protest Trump administration policies, from ICE funding to Medicaid cuts.

Attendees joined millions of others across the country in protest of what they say are authoritarian actions under President Donald Trump.

Winston-Salem’s Pride Parade is on the same day activists across the country, and in the Triad, are holding “No Kings” demonstrations. Despite political tensions, Pride organizers say the day will remain peaceful, safe and celebratory.
