Guilford Courthouse National Military Park

For the last several months, the pedestal that once held the statue of Major Joseph Winston in Guilford Courthouse National Military Park has been empty. WFDD’s Amy Diaz answers a Greensboro listener’s question about the status of the monument for this edition of Carolina Curious.

The park, located in Greensboro, commemorates the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, which took place on March 15, 1781.
