There have been more than 500 cases of cyclosporiasis reported in North Carolina since the beginning of May. But officials say the state does not seem to be associated with the Taco Bell outbreak.

Cases of cyclosporiasis have more than doubled in North Carolina over the past week. And so far, investigators haven't identified the primary source of the outbreak.
