After years of study, the Winston-Salem Transit Authority presented its proposed route network changes to the city council on Monday. They were approved unanimously.

Bus fares for fixed routes and shared ride services are free today in Greensboro in recognition of Transit Equity Day.

AppalCART Director Craig Hughes says anyone can ride the double-decker bus for free. He says the bus will save money in fuel and personnel costs.
