A storm front on Friday night caused significant damage across Greensboro.
According to city officials, the storm brought down over 70 trees and left over 30,000 customers without power.
As of Saturday morning, Duke Energy reported that power had been restored to two-thirds of affected customers.
The City of Greensboro is urging residents to stay away from fallen trees and downed power lines as emergency response is underway. The non-emergency line at 373-CITY is open for residents to report any fallen trees or debris.
