A Wilkes County pastor has been charged with over 100 counts of sex offenses involving children.
Wilkes County police allege 58-year-old Rodney Dean Luffman sexually abused three children between 2000 and 2015. The Wilkes Journal Patriot reports victims ranged in age from 4 to 16.
Luffman was arrested last week and charged with over 100 counts of felony sexual offenses. He is being held at the Wilkes County Jail on $1 million bond.
Luffman is the pastor of Open Arms Outreach Ministries, a non-denominational church in Elkin.
The investigation is ongoing.
