Downtown Greensboro, NC. WFDD file photo.

Hiring efforts are underway at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Greensboro. Around 200 part-time positions are available.

The Tanger Center is scheduled to open in late March, but employee recruitment is starting now. Some of the available jobs include ticket sellers, bartenders, security, and production and maintenance staff.

A job fair is being held until 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, in the Meeting Rooms wing of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex's Special Events Center. The fair is also taking place on Saturday, January 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Organizations that provide support to the Tanger Center will also be on hand to share information and interview applicants. Those include Spectra Food Services, Show Pros Entertainment Services, and IATSE 574, a local theatre technician union.

Those interested are encouraged to bring a photo ID, resume, and expect a background check. Job training will begin on March 1.
