Original post:

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for 25 counties in central North Carolina. These include Forsyth, Guilford, and Davidson counties, among others. The watch is in effect until 8 p.m. Sunday evening. Thunderstorms are predicted in the Piedmont, with heavy rainfall at times. Individuals are advised to watch out for dark, rotating clouds, listen for a tornado siren, avoid unnecessary car trips, and to bring outdoor furniture and other things that could fly away indoors. A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for development of tornadoes in the watch area.
