Across the Blue Ridge #118 - Listening Session

Alex Grichenko, public domain
This week’s ATBR episode is a listening session featuring both classics and new recordings showcasing sounds of the southern mountains.

This week we hear a fine collection of classic songs and tunes, plus some new recordings.  It's a music-packed hour with songs from the Knuckle Knockers of California, Bill Monroe & His Blue Grass Boys, the ethereal-sounding Kentucky banjo player and singer Morgan Sexton, and cuts from the latest album by the Price Sisters, young bluegrass and country music sensations.  Let the music of the southern mountains surround you with Across the Blue Ridge, and hear connections among traditions.
