The two vice presidential candidates will make campaign stops in North Carolina this week.

For the first time as the Democratic vice presidential nominee, Sen. Tim Kaine will speak in the Triad. First, he'll tour Amerifab International. It's a small business in High Point that manufactures bedding and window equipment.

He'll then hold a campaign rally at the Greensboro Transit Authority around 1:30 p.m. According to Hillary Clinton's campaign website, he'll talk about their plans for the economy and job creation.

Republican Donald Trump's running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, will also stump in North Carolina. The NCGOP says Pence will be in Raleigh on Thursday for a town hall event. He will speak at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts around 9:00 a.m.

This marks Pence's third appearance in the state in less than two weeks.
