The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school board is holding a special called meeting Tuesday to consider a vote on the budget.

Six of the nine Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education members are seeking re-election this year. But regaining trust amid a major financial crisis could be a challenge.

So far, six of the nine sitting school board members have filed for reelection. The filing period ends Friday at noon.
