Trinity Moravian Church

Trinity Moravian Church raised more than $25,000 as part of its winter campaign to buy debt for pennies on the dollar and then forgive it.

The church has forgiven more than $18 million in medical debt for families since first launching its relief initiative in 2022.

A Winston-Salem church has partnered with a New York-based nonprofit to purchase and forgive the medical debt of nearly 3,000 households in Wake County.
