Kernersville Fire Rescue

A fire Saturday night destroyed Caudill's historic building. The company released a statement Sunday expressing gratitude to the local fire department and outlined efforts to continue serving customers starting Tuesday.

Emergency management officials were deployed to conduct air and water quality tests – both of which came back within normal limits. Water runoff from firefighting efforts is being contained in retaining ponds at the site.
