Healthy Opportunities Pilots

The pilot program is currently operating in three mostly rural areas in North Carolina. Two are in the eastern part of the state. The other is in mountain counties like Yancey and Avery.

A state social services program called Healthy Opportunities Pilots (HOP) is celebrating its two-year anniversary. The program offers assistance in food, housing, transportation, and domestic violence services, primarily in rural counties.
