Members of Forsyth County’s Republican Party have filed a formal protest after poll workers had trouble shutting down voting machines on election night earlier this month.
When early voting for the 2022 primary begins Thursday, some Forsyth County residents will have a better understanding of how this election will work.
Over 100,000 people have voted early in Forsyth County with less than a week until Election Day. That's in addition to over 35,000 who have returned absentee by mail ballots.
