Don Phipps

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Superintendent Don Phipps spoke about the district's road ahead at a community event hosted by Faith in the City.

Phipps, who was sworn into office on Dec. 1, is expected to outline his plan to lead the district through its budget crisis and rebuild trust with the community.

His talk is part of a monthly discussion series focused on education called Faith in the City, hosted at Knollwood Baptist Church.

Phipps has worked in education for more than two decades, most recently serving as the superintendent of Caldwell County Schools.
