At a meeting on Tuesday, ABSS board members discussed a proposed contract with Yondr, a company that creates lockable pouches for students to put their phones away, but keep them on their person.

The policy states that students must have their cell phones powered off and out of sight for the entirety of the school day. An exception is made for high schoolers, who are allowed to use their phones during lunch.
